Oscar

Oscar is a 5‑year‑old, 22‑pound sweetheart with a gentle heart, but he’s still learning that people can be safe. He’s afraid of new faces and won’t “show” well at first meetings. He’s not the dog who runs up for instant cuddles — he’s the dog who watches quietly from the corner, trying to decide if you’re kind. Oscar does especially well with another friendly, confident dog who can help guide him and show him the world isn’t so scary. With patience, consistency, and a soft approach, his sweetness starts to peek through.
