Siberian Husky (short coat) · Female · 1 yr 5 mo
Waiting 176 days at Northern California Sled Dog Rescue, Walnut Creek, CA
Meet Perris - a very special little girl rescued with her litter of pups from under a demolished house in rural Perris. Thanks to Feeding Perris Strays and some wonderful support, Perris is now at Nor Sled Rescue. This is a super lovely, chill, house broken mom might be the best fit. (don't worry - her puppies were all adopted and we wanted to help her). She sleeps thru the night, is probably no more than a year old and weighs about 45 pounds. She could be YOUR dream dog- her beautiful blue eyes and creamy dreamy white fur coat are calling for love and attention. If you are interested in meeting this lovely canine please complete and return an adoption questionnaire from our website. This could be your (and Perris's) lucky day. From her current foster: "She is so patient with kids- she acts like mama bear. She listens very well- you ask her to "drop it" and she will. Though she is very chill for a puppy husky, she does have bursts of energy (especially first thing in the morning). She loves walks- we go on two a day. I feel she would do best with an active young couple or a family. She is very social and loves attention and cuddles. She is not too fond of small dogs, so she would do best in a home with no small dogs."
