5 years old / Approx. 39 lbs. Hi, I’m Ophelia! I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a new home! Thankfully, they took me in, and I am soaking up all the love and attention from the volunteers here and I heard them say that I’m now ready to find a family of my very own. I think that is the best news ever! Come meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a strong, energetic girl with a sweet heart and a wonderful personality. The volunteers describe me as very friendly, smart, and gentle, with a bit of a regal air about me! I was wonderfully calm during my bath, patiently handled my ear cleaning, and even happily let my bather dry me off afterward. I’m a smart, loving companion who’s ready to share my affectionate nature with my forever family. / Energy level: 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘stay’, ’come’ and ‘leave it’ commands and I look forward to learning more. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / I’m doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts and am always ready to come out quickly and spend time with the volunteers. / I’ve only had a few accidents on the shelter schedule. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love my training sessions and catching treats during those times. Spending time with the nice volunteers is a blast and I’m sure once I’m settled into my forever home, we’ll discover lots more things we will enjoy doing together! / I can’t think of any dislikes though like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I have mild/moderate tartar on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future. I’m a wonderful smart dog looking for a great family to have fun with and enjoy life together. My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
