Meet Glee, an 11-week-old German Shepherd mix with a gentle heart, soulful eyes, and the sweetest personality. Weighing about 12 pounds, this adorable girl is expected to grow into a medium-sized adult and is looking for a family that will help her continue building confidence while showering her with love.Glee settled into foster care quickly and has been happily playing with her littermates, the resident dogs, and other foster puppies ever since. While her siblings are often the first to charge into new adventures, Glee prefers to take a moment to observe before joining the fun. Once she knows she's safe, her affectionate side shines, and she loves nothing more than snuggling with her people or settling in with a favorite chew toy.One of Glee's funniest little habits is her fascination with feet. If there are toes nearby, she's determined to give them plenty of puppy kisses! She may be a little shy when someone reaches down to pick her up, but once she's in your arms, she happily relaxes and cuddles close.Like any young puppy, Glee is learning all about the world. She is just beginning her potty training routine by going outside after naps, meals, and first thing in the morning. She enjoys curling up for naps in an open crate during the day and will continue building her crate skills after her upcoming spay surgery.Glee gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys spending time with children. She has a moderate energy level and will thrive with daily walks, playtime, and lots of encouragement as she continues to grow. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
