“This beautiful blue fawn girlie is Sky.”

Sky is a 10 week old (as of 7/20/26) female Whatchamacalit mix. We know that mama is a Bully/Bird Dog type mix (think Weim or Lab), but dad is a bit of a mystery. For various reasons, we suspect there was some herding dog and some hound present, but your guess is as good as ours!Sky and her 7 siblings came all the way from Southern Virginia to find forever homes up here in the North. Their mom was spectacular at her job, raising healthy happy pups even though she was being starved in the home they lived in. Sky is sweet and social - happy to know everyone. She would likely do fine in a home with dogs and respectful kids, but a meet and greet would be required for both. Cats are a total unknown, but we believe with a little direction she will learn to not mess with the claws too much!Raising a pup isn't an easy task - its a lot of work requiring a lot of patience and time. Sky will need to be crate trained, house trained, obedience trained and socialized. She needs to be exposed to all the different things that the world has to offer, and needs to meet just as many people as she can. This will be key to her becoming a wonderful adult!
