This handsome brindle is about 10 years old, weighs around 70 pounds and has all the wonderful qualities that make senior dogs so special--he's calm, well-mannered, and ready to spend his golden years with a family to call his own. Victor is completely house trained, has excellent leash manners, and is an absolute pleasure to take on leisurely walks. He's a low-energy boy who enjoys a relaxed lifestyle and would thrive in a quiet home where he can soak up all the love and companionship you have to offer. Whether you're reading a book, watching TV, or working from home, Victor is content just being close to his favorite people. He's quite the gentleman and even loves showing off his impressive list of tricks! Ask him for a shake, high five, or down, and he'll happily demonstrate just how smart he is. Victor would be content as the only pet in the home, but he is also non-reactive to other dogs and cats in his foster home. While he enjoys wandering around a fenced yard and taking in all the interesting sights and smells, a yard isn't required. His easygoing nature and low exercise needs make him a wonderful candidate for a town home or apartment, provided he gets his daily walks. Victor can be a little cautious when meeting new people, but once you've earned his trust, you'll discover an incredibly devoted companion who forms deep, lasting bonds. He would be an especially wonderful fit for retirees or someone who is home often and looking for a faithful friend to share life's quieter moments.
